A client and I were chatting about this a couple of days ago.
She was telling me that before she started having health problems, she would spend her time and money on things that did not matter or serve her.
Her time was spent with people that she really didn't care about - but she wanted to be with the "in-crowd", her nights were spent in bars - instead of playing board games with her kids, she went on girls trips - instead of family vacations.
Money was spent on things like fancy coffee - when she liked black better, on fast food - when she had a bag lunch with her, cigarettes - when she knew they were not serving her.
After sometime she started to feel the tension at home with her kids and spouse.
She gained a lot of weight and as a result she started having some health issues.
She asked me to share this part of her story with you in hopes that it will help someone before its to late.
It is not to late for her, she has lost some weight, she is regaining her health and has mended her relationships. :)
Her time is now spent with her husband, kids and close friends. Her money is now spent on bi- weekly massages, pedicures or facials and family vacations.
She said that she is much more happier and healthier with the changes that she made-because in the end all that matters is your health, happiness and family.
