How to know if you have a balanced body?

When our bodies are out of balance it leads to problems like constipation, insomnia, indigestion, illness, fatigue and even depression.

Hmm- Do any of those symptoms sound familiar?

Here are some easy ways to help get your body back in balance.

1- Hydrate Yes, drink your water. By doing so it will help flush out toxins from your body.

How much water really varies from each person. A good gauge is check your urine, if it is dark yellow drink more until it is a pale yellow or even clear is better.

2- How is your diet? Do you have too much fat, sugar or sodium and not enough fiber and other important nutrients?

Let's get back in balance by adding fruits, veggies, whole  grains and lean protein while limiting your snacks and fast food.

3- Are you moving your body?

You know what I mean by moving your body- EXERCISE.
Our bodies love and need it.
It helps keep our circulation moving, blood pumping and helps remove the waste.

4- How are your muscles? Sore? Tense? Over used? Under used?

Get a massage 😄. I often tell clients that they need to get a massage for certain health conditions and it amazes me when they don't. Getting a massage will bring back muscle balance by releasing all the tension. Not to mention all the other health benefits a massage will bring to you. Trust me, you will not regret it!

5) How is your sleep?

Sleep is so important to us, our brains and bodies need that down time to keep us well balanced. This is when our bodies repair itself. Like massages there is a lot of benefits to getting our 7-9 hrs a night.

Here is a bonus tip to keeping a balanced body - SELF CARE - I know that's like a bad word for some of us, but trust me you will be better off when you just take a little bit of time for yourself everyday. We need it for mental and physical balance.  It doesn't have to be expensive or for hours. It could even be just sitting outside enjoying the sun for a bit while reading or relaxing.
